As an Owner/Director of Several Parkers Offices, my career in agency began in 1998. Starting as a trainee negotiator in our Reading Branch. I quickly found that I had a real passion for the property industry and saw my career go from strength to strength.
In 2019 the opportunity to become an owner of a business presented itself. I am thrilled to have teamed up with Simon, and Bruce becoming a part owner of franchise offices in Tilehurst, Theale, Tadley and Spencers Wood. Our success and ambition has resulted in us expanding our offices and now include Arborfield, Burghfield and our most recent venture in Newbury.
The company’s philosophy is to ensure we offer a bespoke and personal service to all our clientele using the most modern marketing technology and still holding onto the core values and techniques which have proved successful over the years. This forward thinking attitude has seen our personal network of offices grow to become very successful in their respective regions and taking on the mantle of being market leaders in our field.
We are constantly integrating with and supporting the local community in the area’s we cover. I strongly believe that being part of our local communities and knowing the people we share our home and business with is vital to our success. I predominantly work at our Spencers Wood office having grown up in the local area.
It is important to me that I regularly visit all of our local offices providing support to our fantastic sales and lettings teams and helping to maintain our high standards of marketing and service to our clients. I’m very invested in all of the communities that we cover and enjoy providing property valuations and marketing strategies for vendors and landlords alike or showing potential buyers/tenants around their perfect home.
For me one of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing the look of excitement on purchasers and tenants faces when they receive their keys to their new home.
I am fortunate that my work is my passion, but my family will always come first. My wife Helen and my two children Jack and Jasmine have always put up with the long hours that I work, but when we are together, we make the most of things. We enjoy camping/surfing trips a couple of times of the year and quite often you will see us taking on long walks at the weekends with our dog.
As well as being avid rugby fans and a member at Rams RFC for over 30 years both Jack and myself hold black belts in Martial arts.
